Anybody know what SAR-2s and 3s are selling for?

I recently found one with a new K-var stock set for $450, sitting next to $599 new WASRs. Go figure.

They have been going for $450 and up but every now and then you might get lucky!

I'm think about selling.

I've got a sick dog I like more than the rifle(s).

Post it on gunbroker then - with lots of pictures. That's probably your best bet for a high sale.

I'll take all the SAR's you got for $450 all day long! I haven't seen a SAR for under $600 in a long time.
Here's my SAR-2-

I went to my local shop today to look for something for my nephew. He had two unfired SAR 3's for $389 each that he had just gotten in trade. Only one mag per but still.
It was all I could do not to grab both. I'm on a pretty tight budget but think I could turn at least them for little profit and keep the other.
Please someone talk me out of going back there.

After I fell off my chair, and read you didn't buy both, where are they and do you think the one you didn't buy might still be available????

They were both still there when I left I got a shotgun for the nephew. One is still in the back he just told me it was there.
I don't know he may have the box's and accessories back there too he's full of surprises.

Did they come originally with one mag or three?

He closes early on Sat. I guess I may have to go back next week I'm weakening

Century was known to throw any number of mags from just one to three in with the SAR-3s, but since they were the slightly modified AK-74 mags, I just threw mine into my SAR-2 range bag and used the correct Wiegers with my SAR-3s.

So, you're not going to tell me where they are??? :D :D :D Is the shop that has them only open on Saturdays???

I'd tell you since your down in Indy but I know there's a member here just up the road so I ain't sayin'. There's not many shop's around here so I've probably said too much already.
I've been warming up to kick myself since your last post. If I jump on them I'll get some picks up

You could put one on layaway.

I was kind of hoping it was when I left there. I was going to PM you if I decided not to try for them.
If you are up near Rensselaer the place is Jerry's on 231. Never has a high mark up but not a lot of AK's there like the old days so kind of hit or miss.
Probably wouldn't be worth a trip just to go there but worth a stop if you're in the area.

On a happy note my nephew loved the shotgun.
He actually got me two cartons of clays so I think we have a good day in our future.

You would be surprised at how far I have driven to pick up a good deal!

Might have to check them out some time. Got lots of free time now that I am gainfully retired!!!
