SGL31 firing-pin stud fell out after 800 rounds

I noticed the stud was missing when the firing pin fell out while cleaning the bolt. I'm new to AK's so here are a couple questions.

1) is there anything I could have done to avoid this?

2) Does the firing-pin spring and bush come out when the stud is removed? Not sure if I lost these parts.

3) should I avoid shooting the rifle in this condition? I would think so.

4) should I expect Arsenal to pay for the parts and shipping?

I called arsenal, had the wheels turning and went out to where I clean my AK for the 3rd time and found the retainer in the mulch so all is good now. There isn't a spring or bush on a 31 like the drawing on the manual and arsenal was great to deal with.
