Now that I've gotten into reloading, I plan to keep some powder on hand.

The answer to this question probably obvious... but, once I open a plastic bottle of powder, even though its got that styrofoam wafer/seal in the cap... I can stick some dessicant in the bottle, right?

My wife and daughter go through so many blessed shoes... I've been saving those small dessicant packs that come in the shoe boxes (I've heard that if you ask, your local PayLess store clerk might save them for you at request too)...

I figured, I'd toss in a half dozen of those into the bottle?

O.S.O.K.

I don't think it would cause any problem.. but since they don't come with them originally, I don't do that. I just store the propellant in an environmentally controlled room (air conditioned). Doesn't have to be cool, jut not hot and humid.

Oh, and just so you know, it's normal for the propellant to have a bit of odor when you open the can. :)
