After finding out I needed Vista or 7 for my battlefield3, I decided to do a dual boot with XP64 existing on my harddrives(raid 0). However i could not get that to work and have very little space to shrink the XP volume even if I did get it to work, so I settled on throwing a spare drive in my computer and installing 7 on the separate drive.

So I have XP64 on a raid0 and on a separate drive I now have 7. How can I have a menu come up to chose which OS to start? Do I have to go into BIOS everytime to change the drive I want to boot into?

How did you find that? When I went to look for it, it was 24.99 or some ridiculous price to change the boot.ini or whatever 7 uses now. I'll give it a shot. Thanks.

I googled "dual boot windows 7 & XP".

Led me to the same place I was at(cost). Till I opened my eyes and saw the older versions were free along the right side. The slightly older version worked great, just set the drive for 7 as the first boot in Bios and the menu comes up. Thanks!
