Why not?

I've always wondered why the Hell Ben didn't just yell at the Sheriff's patrol that he was alive. Knowing the zombie's can't talk, how he approached an armed party, sneaky and silent was STUPID. The Sheriff's patrol has always been portrayed as "redneck" and "racist". They shot a shuffling, silent target at distance. If Ben would have yelled, they would have given him a cup of coffee and drafted him into the patrol.

THE ZOMBIE GUIDE TO SURVIVAL and WORLD WAR Z have the polar regions uninhabitable during the warm months because the zombies are merely immobilized by freezing. First of all, there are not enough people in the extreme cold parts to become zombies in sufficient numbers to pose a challenge to re-settlement. Second, during the winter a very small number of zombie clean up teams could simply smash the frozen zombies. Third, freezing would destroy the muscle fiber of the zombies. They would be mushy piles of crap lying around their fallen skeletons.

This incongruity inspired the winter haiku.

The contrast of perky, happy behavior expected from cheerleaders and the expected behavior of a zombie inspired that one.

Modern Art masterpiece had too many syllables.
