WASHINGTON, Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., won't seek re-election in 2012, WCVB-TV, Boston, reported Monday.

Frank, 71, said he would have a news conference in Newton, Mass., to explain his decision.
