I am in there somewhere. Was so long ago. But I was part of the Drum line, and my brother was in the horn section.

Are you from Park Ridge or just put a show on there? Not bad considering the field you guys were marching on that looked like it was kind of rough.

OG, I was born in Oak Park, went to school in Park Ridge. Moved to Colorado in 1982. Was part of the Cavalier Cadets for three years. 79, 80 and 81. The Cadets disbanded. But the Cavaliers live on.

I think that the town of Rosemont now hosts the Cavaliers. Still I find it interesting that someone with a video camera posted this on youtube. Just goes to show you that you never know what might show up!

I also found a live video of a band that I used to play with in Denver. In my highschool days. I would post it. But my real name is in the credits.

Looks like I moved to Wheeling just as you left for Colorado. Needless to say having to travel to O'hare often I am pretty familiar with your old stomping grounds. I used to eat a lot at the Chinese Dragon restaurant. Just had to be careful about when you showed up to eat or you get the warmed all day in the bottom of the pot left overs.

Ain't it crazy how many people played in marching bands or Drum Corp's I played horn with the Emerald Statesmen in the 60's,
The Crusaders in the late 60's, and again in the 80's. Man I miss the road trips on the bus and hookin' up with the girls from
some of the other colorguards.
