I've been loading the starting load of 33.5gr of H110 using Speer Deep Curl HP's (data out of the Speer Manual)... their max load is 34.5gr of H110... so once again, I put my leather jacket, motorcycle gloves and helmet on in case the slide decided to fly off into my face...

BooYah! This "hand cannon" is wicked powerful!!!!

I don't plan to shoot hundreds at Max loads, but for giggles one in a while... What a difference one more grain of powder can make!

I only took two shots, and the "boom" set off my neighbors car alarm! Hahaha.

Hey, I have a new iPhone 4S.... it takes video.

I know how to take a photo, I usually put it on my FaceBook page then [img] link it here from FB...

I know how to use the [video], to link videos here... but the question is where to "host" a video... I think video's are way to big to upload here directly, right?

If I'm lucky, I can at least get a night picture perhaps... I haven't fired at night yet, but I've read that a 34.5gr load of powder spits out a 6 foot stream of flame! How about that? :)

325 GR. SPR AE UCHP Hodgdon H110 .500" 1.575" Start load 29.0 1250 max load 32.5 1431

Hey Mark,

They dont list pressure for these loads, I will check my older books but be very careful when reloading max charges! Also when you start to load on a progressive reloader weights can change .3gr +/- and that much deviation in rounds like 5.7 could be catastrophic ...

O.S.O.K.

I'm pretty sure the Speer bullets are 300 grain - that's why the diff.

Pretty cool Mark.

Would also like to see the vid - just get a youtube account. :)

Thanks for the word of caution...

I'm using a single stage rock chucker and weighing each load by hand on a balance beam type scale.

When loading the "start load" of 33.5gr, I was careful, but if the weight was over "a hair", that was okay...

But with a "max load" of 34.5gr, and only weighing out for 20 rounds... I was extremely careful and made sure that the level lines were even if not a "a hair" under.

BTW, I have a youtube account :) I joined simply because some of the videos were "18 and older"... just to see a little blood and guts (no porn intended). I should be good to go, I'll see what this night may offer using my iPhone for video.
