anyone on here live in cook county or know alot about the gun laws here? thanks, i'm new on here.

:welcome: to the board! We do have a mod that lives in or near Cook County in Chicago... I can tell you that the laws suck that is all :)

Just for a point of reference, it looks like Cook County created Ordinance 06-O-50 back in November 2006. This was a reaction to Fereral ban expiring two years earlier.

i'm looking for some sort of loop hole to owning a "non fired" collectible AK. i have to store them in somewhere in other than Cook County like neighboring DuPage County. I would like to message the moderator that lives in cook county to get some more information.

Well at least their stringent gun laws are keeping firearms off the streets of Chicago, especially the South side, right? [crickets] Right?
