I don't get around here much but thought this might have some interest for some. Hope it's in the right spot.
Quite a while ago I found an interesting place for dinner.
It has an adjoining railroad museum which I almost past up going in.
Turned out to be quite an interesting place.
Here's a link for a small description of it.

This rather odd looking piece was on display and came with an interesting story.

They are not claiming it is since they can't prove it but in researching it they were contacted from a someone in New York. He claimed to have one and told them he hasn't seen others but his was used by the Pinkerton's on the train route for Lincoln's funeral.
There are no markings but the hammer is how he identified it.

This one was found in the walls of a house during some remodeling.
It's a few miles north of the museum in Francesville. It's rumored to have been a brothel at some point and only a couple blocks from the rail line which is still in use.
(The rail line not the brothel)

I tried to do a comparison with some old maps and found that the train did indeed run though the area.
I posted it elsewhere and this is a copy and paste which I hope works but here's a link with a few more shots of it.
