They aren't cheap, but many of these are rare varients.

Notice how many are from the same seller!!!!!

Really nice rifles.

Two or three of those are unobtainium... and a couple NIB or Unfired

The x39 is rare, but in fixed tube I don't think I've ever seen one for sale. Joe Zeta has a few of these in his collection. Make one humble... And how often do you see a M62 come up? Maybe once every 2 to 4 years...

That M76 in 7.62x39 Tube Stock is the only on I've seen for sale in ten years of looking... These are rifles imported in the 1960s, 1970s & 1980s in very small amounts, some >500 and are in NIB or close shape... Also, I belive Valmets to be better than the Polys in quality, mainly function. The Polys had better blueing, the Valmets are fighting rifles, pure fuction. They made MK's design better and did it first. I'd put the M62 I have up against anything thing on the planet for going bang every time, a machinist's machine.

Looks like an incomplete Maadi cut up from a post ban import, no barrel, no barrel parts, he has Krink in the banner and the piston isn't... 134 sales. I don't like his sale style. Do you need the parts? Not a good or bad price on the pieces, but not a complete kit...

Those prices are flat stupid. I predict none will sell.

OH, and the one thing the Fins never got right was the synth stocks. They break at the trunion screws every time. IIRC, they never issued them. The fores aren't bad, just the butts.

Hey Dog! How are you?

I'm not buying, just drooling.

The M62 at $3,675 at that condition is reasonable for condition. Not a BUY IT I CAN SELL FOR MORE!, but it is a good retail.

The M76 x39, what do you ask for a rifle that has maybe 20 in the states? IIRC, only a sample shipment came in and I haven't seen a tube before.

Except for the barrel all the usual wear parts are there. A spring kit would do almost as much cheaper. If in good shape this would supply more wear parts but it is 3 or 4 times the price of new springs.

To make it clear, AKs do 40,000+ rounds, springs should be the only problem you have in that time or more. A G2 trigger set, extractor and spring kit is 99% of what goes wrong before the barrel is shot out.

Jeff was selling kits in Denver at the gun show when I met him. I told him he needed a web site and gave him the address to this web site. I also bought a cut from new Romanian RPK at that gun show... Good guy. I still keep his card in my wallet.

Are you interested in keeping your Maadi going or collector's original?

Those are some good looking rifles. I liked the one on 308 with the fixed wood but stock. I sure wish you could still buy one. I wonder why it is they can't be imported any more.

Valmet got bought out by Sako and IIRC Sako got bought by another company, then Valmet was closed out.

It was like when Bennelli bought out Franchi and killed their LEO line of shotguns.

Old thread, but still relevant ... I scored a nice, in the box, slightly used M76 tube folder in .223 yesterday.

When grave robbing an old dead thread to brag (rightfully) about a Valmet score, pictures should really be provided. :D

Picked it up Tuesday and it's every bit as clean as represented ... the outside of the box is in good shape but far from mint, the styrofoam is in good shape too, for a 23 year old cardboard box I'm mot complaining!
