I have a question to ask?Today my wife and i went to the local gun store to pick up ammo for my AK and instead she told me that she wanted to put a gun on layaway for me for christmas and i picked out a 1942 91/30 Mosin Nagant. While she was doing the paper work i was looking over the rifle and near the left of the reciever it looked like piece of the stock was replaced, and the handle on the bolt was replaced, and it looks like at one time there were two screw holes in the reciever that were filled in.I know a little about the Nagant's but could that rifle be an ex sniper rifle????

That would be an ex-sniper.

Hello,

Will you do a range report when you get it in hand? I'd love to see how these ex-snipers really shoot. With my 1938 standard with a trigger job, sight job and cork bedding, I usually shoot sub-MOA to 2.5MOA at 100 yards, average being about 1.2MOA with irons. I'm just not that great without a 'scope.

I'm very curious about the ex-snipers though.

Thanks!

Josh

Yeah i could do that i'm kinda curious about that myself.I know i shot my m44 carbine 145 yards, from the bottom of the hill and had all 5 rounds tightly grouped. So i know it can be done.
