About time. The brussel sprouts are just limping along but I'm still hopeful. Two of the broccoli plants are starting to get the top head, and I harvested a bit of the collards last night for dinner. The best collards I've ever had! Very flavorful but not a bit of bitterness.

I ate my first collard last week. Was caned by Allens but still good.

Thanks for the replies folks. This is my first try with the fall stuff but so far I'm happy with it. The trick with the "covered wagon" covering works great. Just hammer in some 1/2 inch re-bar and run 1/2 inch PVC down on top of it. Then screw/bolt another piece along the top for a little strength. Cover with plastic, and for good measure stick a trouble light inside the plastic.
