Sorry for such a lame thread, but how many of you have noticed the lack of creativity on that website? And total and complete arrogance of everyone there? Simple postings of mine which I clearly stated were just ideas, are getting the "your an idiot" replies.

I go there from time to time, but have been there enough to know that there are a lot of "Chairborne Rangers, "Teir 1 Operators", and just plain ole asshats, along with the ones who still live in Mom's basement playing the latest version of COD. That said I find that there are plenty of "normal fol" too, along with some generally intelligent folks.

I have never heard that of this place, and just to put it out there, the majority of the most epic gun building I have ever seen has been out of here. At arfcom it's just people copying one creation from someone like you.

The main one I'm frustrated with is just about attaching a suppressor via silver solder to a draco to bring to length. I explained how I knew it was a loud action and I needed to check the threads for concentric..ness. They just started rattling off the things I clearly posted and not what I wanted to ask about.

I have to admit that at least one of my questions was self explanatory and quite dumb. But not all of them.

I LOVE warrior talk! HAHA and that superduche "Gabe Swartez" or whatever his name is. I sometimes browse that site for shits and giggles, and man do the giggles come running.

I have only ever really posted on G'Net (for this sites detriment), and carry only passing interest/activity in a few others. When this site was down for awhile, I did most my posting about gun stuff on The High Road and Perfect Union (Mini-14 Heaven), and while I still sometimes post there… I mostly stick to G’Net. Plus we got way thick skins here, if you don’t like our shit, go fuck yourself.

N/A I wouldn't do that today. That was like 8-9 years ago when a few of them and a few of us got into a board war. I'll admit it was about on par with some Jr. High shenanigans looking back.

They are correct as far as the action being loud.
What I did was buy a fake can for my draco for around $50 and I tig welded it in place and installed a Kvar stock on it. I didn't like the balance so I sold it to a buddy. It looked cool but that was about it. My thoughts at the time was maybe the end of the world would pop off and I could use what little bit of gas I had in the generator to run my grinder and surgically remove the fake can with the utmost precision in order to have a quasi krink with good threads.

Assaultweb was started by people from the old board who got tired of being degraded because they were Christians, so they did what anyone should do....they went and started their own board. That, I agree with. I don't agree with their including the old Confederacy as part of the forum, but it is their board,...the same as this board can have a porn forum as it does.

Yeah...I understand. The issue back in the day (remember this was almost a decade ago) was that we used to give the militia guys a hard time who came from there to here. Well...they got kinda pissing with our opinions, and we fired back and a few of us (not mentioning names only calling myself out) decided to ruffle feathers. I look back and yeah it was fun like high school prank stuff. I wouldn't participate in a board war today and I totally agree with you. I am working on being a Christian myself and I can understand why they wanted to create and Christian centered forum. Common interest and beliefs along with their displeasure of some of the riff raff on other boards.
