First off, an abomonation, plain and simple!

Secondly, that so called artwork on the left side of the stock looks like something from 1st grade, the deer is very "real"! lol

I wonder why they continued to make those in 1916.

I figured demand would have been gone with the intro duction of the the '03 or '06 Springfield. Unless civilians still wanted them for whatever reason.

Well I have a Garand,1903A3 and an AR.

I'd like to get a Trapdoor Springfield,Krag,M1A to round out the collection. This may not be complete but these are the most notable rifles used by the US.

That little diarama inserted into the stock is a definite work of art. Oh, yeah!:dizzy:

I'm thinking it might have started life as a hunting rifle, at the very least it's not a US issued Krag. So no crying from me.

i almost like it.

its was almost very tastefully done. if not for the diarama in the stock, and the turquoise jewlrey on the forearm, imo, i would have been a VERY nice rifle.

Ask and you shall recieve... Just took these, so I'm pretty sure they're better than the one you were going to post.

I just looked up the definition of 'tacky' in the dictionary & found a picture of that rifle.

That's definitely a european Krag, but I wonder if it was sporterized there or here. Judging by the style (or lack thereof) it doesn't appear to be a recent sporterization.

I'm going to go against the grain here and say I think that rifle is sweet! Best thing that could happen to a butt-ugly Krag :wavey:

Well, if you're looking for a conversation piece to take to the range, this would be it.

This is a prime example of just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do it.
