First off, I in no way modified the actual rifle or the rifle stock. The goal was to modify an ATI synthetic stock to fit the PU sniper to it. This is the result. My cut is not as flawless as I would like but eh, the rifle fits nice and tight in the stock and I'm curious to see how it shoots.

The cut looks like hell in hindsight. I copied the wood as much as possible, and measured a bit, but well, this was not the case. I may go back and use JB Weld to fill in the gaps as needed, but eh, this is not meant to be a beauty queen, but to be shot.

I would be interested to hear how well it shoots. Is it an orginal or one of the new repos?

It is one of the repros. I wouldn't monkey with an original one. Odds are I will need to sand the stock more to get the barrel to float freely, but well, this one has never been dialed in anyhow, and is more of just a plinking mosin, albeit one with a scope.

I just sanded the stock a bit to even out the area around the scope mount and to float the barrel. It now floats freely on the stock up to the receiver. Now to just get to a range.

Tis two of us, although it will be the shooter, not the rifle, that makes errors, haha.
