This knife was designed by Greg Thompson for the Special Operations Combat Program (SOCP) as a quick to grab, GTFO me knife for CQB situations.

Its ringed handle allows it to be easily grabbed, even with gloved hands, by simply slipping a finger into the ring and pulling. The serrations atop the ring allow positive grip for your thumb and these are also found on the middle finger groove. The blade is sharpened only on the first half of it,both so that you wont cut yourself in the reverse grip and as this is a stabbing type dagger meant to get your opponent off of your person instead of engaging them full on in a knife fight, unless you are particularly well versed in stiletto type knife fighting.

Best held in a reverse grip with the ring around your first finger, the thin blade allows you to draw your sidearm if you have one without having to swap the knife to the other hand once the threat is off of your person.

The sheath as you can see has holes in it on the top and bottom to allow for neck carry as well as boot carry. Personally I have carried it in the small of the back by making two loops with 550 paracord using the holes and sliding my belt through them. The thin sheath allows it to easily slide under my belt loops and clip using the pocket clip.
Also carries well in my side pocket, though this requires pants with traditional length? pockets and not the shallow one found on some. Also it fits easily into MOLLE webbing.

Quick to deploy, I can have it out much faster than any of my pocket folders. Fits very securely into its sheath and doesnt need any straps or such to secure it. Unfortunately I belive the clip should be a bit higher pressure than it is.

Overall I am very pleased with this lil guy.
