What's the deal with that Bulgarian 7.62x39? Anyone try some yet?

Almost $300 a case.

IMHO it is not worth that much more than Russian or Yugoslav etc. Is it in Spam Cans, that usually ups ammo cost. I've had Bulgarian ammo that came in the Spam Cans in the past and it is quality ammo but no more so than the typical offerings.

I like the Spam cans for long term storage and it's nice to have an alternative from the Yugo.

A "case" is 1400 rounds in 700 round tins for $280 & shipping... not bad.

About 2 cents a round delivered (for me) more than Yugo. As my rifles shoot the Yugo better than everything I've tried, Bulgy steel copperwash won't get the nod at this point. Looks like decent ammo though.
