Not any more...It could be that the Chinese stock was beat up, so they replaced it w/ an EG...Doesn't look to bad, really, for the price.

That would be my guess.
He does mention "factory stock" just not which factory. Forearms look right, not sure about the grip but has the right color

Out of all the pre ban Chicoms, why is the 84S most seen getting sold or auctioned off?

It is known as the most accurate of the Chinese AKs. Not many were imported and there were a lot of variations in those... Highly collectable if in original shape and good to great shooters.

That said, this one is completely uncollectable, it is a pitiful shooter grade in my opinion.

My guess is the biggest reason is that mags are hard to come by and fairly expensive when you find one, and some people just can't keep a firearm unless they have 10 zillian mags.

$636 delivered is about the limit considering you would need a new stock set, mags, and it looks like someone did some mods to the receiver cover.

Good shooter, yes but I would like to actually physically inspect that rifle before buying.
