Looks like a new MEC progressive sells for over $300, so I think I got my money's worth...

Well, of course.... LOL. Ammo was money in Argentina and Yugoslavia...

Did you see my post where the Fed has ANNOUNCED they are going to inflate the dollar by at least 33%? Have you seen the estimates on unfunded liabilities on SS and Medicare/Medicaid to be as high as 105 TRILLION?

i always thought bert had penty of guns, but lacked ammo, mags, LBEs, etc etc. and never forget bert ran out of ammo in mexico. no gun guy worth his powder will EVER run out of ammo.

In Bert's defence, they had not run into screamers before. The quad he had next time filled the bill... LMAO!

WOW! That was a terrific deal. You would have been foolish to pass that deal up, even if you aren't loading shot now. Congrats!

Thanks, that's what my though was. I poked around and replacement value is liikely $600+ for the package. I have no idea why he sold it so cheap. The MEC progressive is an older unit, but still works.

I bought a BEC 12 from a neighbor a year ago. Don't remember what I paid, but didn't get the bargain you did. Even though I haven't tried it out yet, I'm glad it's here. I'm still loading rifle and pistol ammo, and am starting to get some decent results. With that confidence under my belt, I'm more inclined to start loading shot before too long.

Great deal to be sure. I know you got some bags of shot but you'd be surprised how fast a 25 lb. bag of shot goes. Stock up it isn't getting any cheaper. I would also recommend a buckshot mold. Cast your own and save. Something I should do but haven't got around to, buckshot mold that is. I cast, just don't have the mold for it.

Got a .32 cal. muzzle loader, might just get a mold for that and kill 2 birds with one stone. But always favored #4 buck as in a 2 3/4" shell you can get 27 pellets vs. the 9 of 00 buck.

with lee's low cost 00 buck mold hitting the market a while back there are alot more casters turning out buck than there used ot be. the sharpshooter molds were out there but they had drawbacks. here is my review of both, as i cast ALOT of 00 buck.
