If I could figure out how to post a picture here I would.

If you don't already have one, get a Photobucket or similar account. The just use the 'insert image' icon in the info bar across the top and viola!

So if you're looking for Hungarian pics, I'll start it off...

This one is an AMMS I built and put Russian wood on. I'm not a big fan of the Hungarian grips, and I had a buttload of Russian stock parts, so I decided to dress her like a Russian AKMS.

The other is my AMD, built on a Form 1 after getting to fire a postie AMD 65 a couple of years ago.

And yes, I realize that it has the original Hungarian grips on it, but as bad as they are, the thought of replacing them with other grips is just, I don't know, wrong. I've seen the CAI AMDs that used the standard plastic PGs, and to put it mildly, they're Fugly in that configuration. So I'll deal with the crappy grips.

other than the Krink kits.. I think the AMDs' are the only ones worthy of wasting $200 on to make them right.

I have a photobucket account. I keep getting an invalid file notice when trying to "managage attachments" on this website. Maybe I can't upload because I'm new? Thanks, guys keep the pics coming....

I Form 1'd a Draco too. Turned out pretty good. Got a 4 count on the tax stamp collection right now. I've though about doing an M92, but at the prices the kits are going for now, that may remain a dream for a while.

This is my first AK and I love it. Some before and in the works pics. It probably isn't as nice as some of the AK's I've seen here but I'm having a blast with it.22132214

I have a Hungarian SA 85M as well and it is by far the most accurate AK I have shot! Wouldn't mind having a couple more :)

Welcome to Gunsnet wud duk. I used to have a Hungarian SA2000M that I converted to take standard mags. With a blond Ironwood maple stockset and a Redstar triggergroup it not only looked fantastic but shot great as well.

Thank you Sir! I was a member here awhile back (before the site went down)...had the same user name even! When the site came back up I couldn't log on...then work got crazy. Didn't have much time to do anything for a long azz time! Nice to be back :)

These are posted some where around here I'm sure ... This is an old picture ;)

They all started their current life as AMD-65 parts kits back when they were cheap. The pistol (on the bottom) is all kit except the receiver & furniture ... the others have the typical compliance parts, Romanian AKM gas tubes & chrome lined barrels.
