I don't know which model it is yet, but SKS with detachable AK mags, 50 rounds through it, excellent. W/ 3 e. German mags. He wants $485.

Man, that's a good deal, I normally see them around here for $600 and up. I'd bite on that, but still low ball him a little.

if its been modified to take ak mags id check the fit with some other ak mags (the ones that didnt come with it personally) because there was this sks at a local pawnshop that had been tacticooled to the max with quad rails, synthetic stock, laser, and red dot and had a ak mag conversion and the price was $475 however the guy said hed cut me a "real good deal of $400" after taxes so i did a little online research and decided to come back with some of my ak mags (hungarian 20 rnd steel, romanian 30 rnd steel, and tapco 5 rnd syn) and found that all of them except the synthetic mag wobbled so bad it was ridiculous. the syn mag fit fine though and are generally pretty cheap to buy but i like the steel mags. thats something id check personally, but you can find new sks'es for $200-400 dollars easy, the ak mag conversion might make it worth a bit more if it was done properly (it was kinda a deal breaker for me).

The way I read the add, it should be a Model D or M not a conversion.
