Front , Mas-49 7.5 Syrian Contract I got off Raxar last week

Back, Mas49/56 in 7.5

I've amassed quite a bit of mags, ammo and accessories so far. Need to get off my ass and finish my 25rd mags.

Haven't had a good day to paper either of them.
I run with No.34 primers to avoid those annoying bursts. 47gr IMR4350 using 145gr Tracer. MOBG at 300yds.

Can't really find what is Similar to the original french loading.

Sweet, wish I had bought back in the 90's.

I picked up a 49/56 from Southern Ohio Guns back when they were $225 refurb with accessories... Couldn't get good ammo so it has been a safe queen since...

Very nice HK!!!

I also picked up a 49/56 from SOG. Pretty much looks brand new. I've still got almost 500rds of the first batch of INDEP ammo that came out at that time but haven't tried it in the 49/56. Had a pretty good stash of Syrian ammo so that's what I used until it was gone. Guess I need to check it out and see if it's going to be an issue. If so I guess I'll work out a fix with the firing pin or just reload with milspec primers.

Just slightly flatten the tip of the FP. Fixes the slamfire problem.
