No, not GM's impending IPO.:nono:

What options are out there for folding stocks? I'm not crazy about the ones that uses a folding block that sticks out an inch or so or the Romy/EG wire folders.

Are Bulgy Krink folders still out there for a reasonable price? A FAL Para style that doesn't stick out the back of the receiver?

Don't know if folders are out there for a reasonable price. Wish mine was a folder. Try here.

Tang must be filed/ground off to get flush fit.

More exact link. Site is a bitch to navigate.

I've always used the Romy side folder. Really doesn't protrude that far pass the tang.
It has a decent cheek weld as far as folders go.

Did some looking earlier this week. The K people (yuck, ptooie) have/had triangle folders and maybe 100 series folders too. They all seem to start around 2 bills which isn't bad I suppose. IIRC I paid $125 not long after the ban sunset for the Bulgy triangle on my SAR2.

$75 bucks more 5-6 years later seems to be the going rate of inflation on anything firearms related...:(

If that's what you prefer, by all means get it.
It's your rifle and no one can tell you what to and what not add to it.
Enjoy your rifle by any means necessary.

Meh, not my cup of tea...:running-dog:

I prefer the "traditional" options, even on a Khyber Pass creation.
