Here's a dumb question...

With my 5.45x39 AR upper... can I shoot it through my 5.56x45 suppressor?

Oops... never mind, I was just thinking that corrosive crap would be a bitch to clean out of a sealed can.

It might not be that bad. It's only salt, right? Just dip it in the sink, shake it up and rinse it out. I was told not to use water as a medium in my aluminum can but I always do. I just make sure it's good and dry before I put it away and I haven't noticed any corrosion.

Yes you can. I've never done it myself but Vltor even sells a HALO adapter for 24mm AK-74 muzzle devices.

But yah, you'd have to clean it really well.

Mark I think if you soaked it with CLP then when you get home use something like this it wouldn't be so bad...

no prob.

I coat the inside of my can (aluminum baffles) with CLP before I use water or wire pulling gel.

Makes a huge difference.
