‘Work in progress’ concealed carry bill moves forward in state House

Springfield, Ill. — Once again, downstate Illinois lawmakers in both parties have sent to the House legislation that would allow people to carry a pistol.

And, once again, the effort probably will end with another misfire.

They need to change the name of the state to Illinois D.C. as in District of Chicago.

Too bad the state legislators don't have the gonads to remind Chicago that they are part of the state, not the other way around.
