Seems like the new issue is going very black and tac ! Tacticool is in as long as quality is used in preparing your build or additions ....

Of course you puritans and your styles of raw and simplistic have a valid point , just load and go ....kinda like a jagged hook ! Just load it with shrimp and you will catch !

However if you use a sharper hook and better bait your odds for fun are much better !

Seeing a lot of junked up AK's out there though , must be a fine line to it all ....

There's actually a funny storie behind that piece but it ruins the mystique. Rest assured, no actual war relics were harmed in the making of the worlds worst entry gun.

Was salvaged from a wrecked airplane by an industrious Devil Dog, ourfitted with the stock, sights and ammo box, after which it spent the rest of the war liquifying everything in it's path.

That's a "Browning Machine Gun, Cal. .30, M2, Aircraft (AN/M2)"; a 1919 derivative with reversible belt feed, and a much lighter barrel (hence, higher rate of fire).

Post # 10 in this thread has a link to Recon's original thread that has a picture of it. It's on the shelves now. I had to go to Hasting's to get mine. The supermarkets and Wal-Mart have really bitched up in the magazine departments lately.
