Walther PPQ

Any members here have one yet? Are they all that? Many reviewers can't say enough good about this pistol. Hikock45, Nutnfancy, MAC...Its the Glock/M&P/XD killer...I must admit my curiosity is piqued. I don't know about the mag release, but otherwise looks pretty nice.

It may be nice, but it's going to be hard to de-throne Glock, especially in the LE market.

I agree with you there CB. I love my Glocks. I may have to shoot one of these to see what all the hype is about...

If it has the same reliability as a glock but had no apparent recoil whatsoever and laserlike accuracy I could see it having a chance.

the mag reease is more intuitive than you would think. i have that style on my P22 and its just fine.

i dont think any handgun can dethrone the glock simply because of the cost factor. Glock cuts LEOs bangin good deals money wise both on initial purchase and trade ins. so far no other maker comes close to that. why do you think glock became the defacto LEO handgun in the first place? individual depts may go other directions, but large institutions have budgets to consider and glock is teh cheapest around when youre a penny pincher.

My P99 was awesome, still wish I had it. Don't know enough about this one.
