So Wednesday I was coming up on the 6 month anniversery since my two SBR form 1's went pending, so I called to check up on them ...

I gave whoever it was that answered the phone the serial numbers and they said there seems to be a problem with the trust and it was on Jayson's desk ... and would I like to talk to him!

I said ... ABSOLUTELY!

And of course I had to leave a voice mail ... and he called me Thursday to let me know he wasn't in the office and I could call him back on Friday.
(besides these two fourm 1's I have two forum 4's pending on the same Trust and if there was a problem I wanted to get it fixed)

Anyway ... he said he just needed to run it by legal, but when I told him I had 3 other NFA items on the same Trust, he said "OK, I'll approve it today"

... so I should have the new stamps in my hands next week sometime.

I got to say, although he wouldn't jump my form 4's up and handle them today, which would have kinda made sense because he had everything right there ... he wouldn't do it because they were submitted 3 months after the fourm 1's he was calling on; so it really wouldn't have been fair ... but this guy was very helpful, there was no attitude or bullshit.

FYI ... they are backloged by 27,000 NFA applications!

How long does it take to process 27,000 forms?

Apparently about 6 months as that is about the current wait time for form 1's & 4's ... Transfers from dealer to dealer, in my recent experience is about 6 weeks.
