I'm looking to by a new .22 RF rifle. I have my eye on a Henry lever action.

How are these compared to other lever actions? I know they're smooth as silk, but was wondering about durability, reliability, and accuracy.

Are they worth $279 NIB? (Not the brass-framed model.)

Ok, don't own one but I've looked at them and they seem to be of high quality. I think they have a pretty good warranty but can't recall for sure what the details are.

Yes, they are nice. A friend owns 2. 1 in .22LR and 1 in .22 mag. I've shot them both and I will own one at some point.

I haven't fired one yet but like TEN-32 says I will own one. Still, IMO the Goldenboy action was noticeably smoother in my extensive Sportsman's Warehouse gun sales counter comparison test.........

I have their large loop carbine, and it quickly became one of my favorite .22s!

As for accuracy, tack driver describes it perfectly. Yes the action is smooth as silk, the feed is so far flawless even using junk ammo as a test.

Like the H001L so much I was thinking about adding a standard one to go with it.

Great rifle!
