I am new to ak's and just picked up a WASR 10, but really like the underfolders. Is there any plausble way to convert it over?

I'm assuming you want to put an underfolder stock on a WASR. You might want to rephrase that question. Folks around here get nervous about new guys asking about "converting over" and "switch possible". Those terms have connotations of full auto and coverting an AK varient to that is illegal.

To answer your question, yes but it takes a bit of work to modify your receiver. Swap out the trunnion, welding rivet holes, drilling new ones, drilling a hole of the new pivot shaft in the receiver....... I personally wouldn't bother with it.

a little background on you would go a long way as far as members trying to get a feel for your aptitude/ability in order to reccomend if this is something that you might want to tackle.

imo, its not really a big deal, but i have a machine shop in my garage.
