I have shot a few k of it, not one ftf or fte although that last case i bought the lacquer was awful thin....Wish I could have inspected it before i bought it ......but the other 6-7k i shot was fine.

Way better than Wolf. Never hesitate to get Tiger if it is available and at a good price.

Love the stuff, I have a couple cases left just sitting on it. I shoot Monarch when I want to plink my AK.

I bought a couple cases way back (04 or 05) and love it. if I find anymore for a decent price I'd buy it.

most of my ammo is Tul... 10 - 640 rd tins.. my backup stock.. :zwinker12: plus 2,000 rds of Herter from Cabelas..

The Video was impressive on their web site done by Military Arms Channel. 300 fps faster for 7.62x39 G.Tiger and +200 fps for 5.56 G. Tiger vs. Wolf offerings. I must say I am surprised as I have done Chrongraph sampling of Wolf back in 2000, 2001 time frame. It was not that slow then for the 7.62x39, it was in the mid 2300 fps range back then.

I have a deep stack of it now and I've probably fired 6-8k rounds of it in the last 3-4 years. It's by far my favorite x39. But abpt1 is correct, about the recent stuff... GT dried up completely about 2 years ago. When it reappeared on on shelves the Lacquer is a little thinner and the neck/primer sealer is a little different shade. So something changed... but I've fired about 1000 rounds of the new stuff and it's just as good as the old stuff.

If I didn't just buy a new house I'd order 10k more rounds of it and toss it in a closet. I'm afraid at some point it's going to dry up again. They have said they are trying to produce a HP round but it's been over a year now and still nothing.
