Just about done with my camoed Zombie eliminator.
Just need to finish modifying the piston and carrier, and threading the barrel.
Recoil guide rod assembly is done.
Going a different route with the lower HGs.
Just haven't figured out which way I'm going.

Wow, major cool.

Mine isn't as mini.

I need to build a rail that goes all the way across, from front to back and use AR sights. and thread the barrel another 1.5 - 2 inches back so I could add a fake suppressor like the one I have on my very first Romy build.

That's the kit you got a week or so ago? It's bad ass for sure.
So, you're going to use the same type HGs as the rifle? I'd like to on mine, but not enough room.

Lookin good!

I want to add some type of tri-rail as a HG.
This way I could remove the AK sights and use something similar to this:

Front sight.... http://accuracynut.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/stock.jpg

Rear sight.... http://dynamicarmament.com/images/SIGSAUERLIGHT/SIG%20REAR%20SIGHT-diopter.jpg

Rail.... http://www.centerfiresystems.com/productimages/misc/HDG-AMD-D.jpg

Mock Suppressor.... http://www.shortyusa.com/cart/images/1707a.jpg

And grab a few 20 round clear mags like these: http://www.ftfindustries.com/d_715.jpg

I gotta figure out what type of rail I'm gonna add to the rear.

There's a company that sells a top cover with the rear sight already attached like the one you posted above.
I'll see if I can find the link.a

Make sure you secure the top cover so it doesn't wiggle, not that it's really necessary on a pistol, but helps.

I made it .5mm short just to make it a tight fit.

You may not be able to see them in my pic, but I silver soldered 2 legs coming down from the top cover and the 2 rear trunnion screws go through them.
Since yours is riveted, you won't be able to do this.

The top cover is rock solid.

Cool. But it needs a sexier red-dot. That round "Famous Maker" $19 sight just screams "Printerman". A camo Kobra would look sweet......

I'm going to keep it as is (with a brake) for my truck gun.
No need in prettying it up to get knocked around.
When it does, it's just a matter of an easy touch up.
I've done quite a few "pretty" ones, so I'm not itching to make this one good looking.

Or is it threaded on one end and open on the inside?

You're going to have to make a "closed tube" inside from front to rear.
Otherwise if the can is open forward of the threads, the BATF will consider it a functioning suppressor.
A closed tube will act like a normal barrel, no noise suppression.

Got'cha. I may have to hack it up anyways, so it will be easy to install a tube.

Most of the time, I'd go with an oven baked-on satin or flat finish out of the can.

I use a lot of matte black GunKote in the rattle can with great results.
