Local pawn shop has one for 400.00. Pretty decent shape. Don't really need it. But it is kinda cool looking "baby Luger."
Plus I don't have anything in .380. Decent price?

I've only 2 in the last 5 years, the price seems in line from what I remember. I had a chance to buy a 22, 32 and 380 all for $800 once, I sort of regret not buying them.

AIC, yes that is what it looks like. I am not sure (don't remember) if it was marked beeman. Have to go look again.

I picked up an Erma Luger in 22LR a few years ago, everything seemed OK when I got it but the pivot knuckle on the top strap broke on the 3rd or 4th round I shot from it ... shop said sorry, used gun, no warranty. I couldn't find parts for it anywhere.
I ended up breaking it down ans selling it for parts and made most of my money back a year or so later ... but most people needed the same part I did.

FWIW, I have only known of a couple of people that had Erma's......they were both big problems...jamamatics! I wouldn't touch one...JMO.

I've always wanted one of the Erma Lugers. They are just cool pistols.
That said I am aware that they are notorious for weak parts in the toggle and breaking firing pins and such. The .380 versions seem to have a better reputation than the .22 versions and usually sell in the $350 to $450 range. I will probably buy a .22 version if I can find one when I have the spare funds available to get it.

The frame on the one pictured is marked Beeman. This means it was imported by Beeman, still made by Erma-Werke, from 1988-1990. The Beeman versions was known as the MP-08 model with checkered wood grips and a 3.5" barrel. Originally Mandall's Shooting Supplies imported these beginning in 1968 and was known as the Erma KGP68A model. This version had plastic grips and a 4" barrel. El Duce, if the one you're interested in appears to be in excellent condition then the $400 price would be fair. Just my $0.02.

Thanks Steve. I'll have to go back and take a better look. I did a quick search on the web. Just have been too busy.

This one had wood grips on it. Once again, I'll have to go back and look again. I have read that some of these had problems with firing pins.

Just went and looked at it again. It is not a beeman import. Price went up 20 bucks though. He also had a Springfield (1898?) Krag in there for 600.00. Really nice shape.
