Greetings,

A part on my Century Arms M70B1 seems to have fallen off and disappeared and after a few hours of google searching, I can't seem to figure out what the technical name for it is so I can order a spare. I'm attaching a picture if anyone can help me in figuring this out and possibly post a link to where I can purchase a spare. It appears to be a cap that's supposed to go on the button/plunger/spring that releases the dust cover and recoil spring.

Thanks in advance,

Did a little looking around and your description seems to be as good as any other I've seen. I'd say get hold of a parts place, tell them what you got and they should be able to get it or tell you where or if you can get it. Maybe even try Century.
This place may be able to fix you up don't worry about the right name. I'd guess shipping will cost more than the part but if you need it you need it.

Give em a call.
I did find a vid on youtube but didn't sit through it all there are several others on the side bar they may name it there don't know.

All it is, is a nut.
If you can’t find one, you can make one out of a regular nut and a grinder. Just make sure you stake it well or you will loose it just like you lost the original
BTW
Now that the nut it missing, the “bolt” or plunger and spring are loose. it can and will fall out.
If you loose the bolt/plunger it would be very difficult to make one.;)

It's the return spring locking nut which actually keep the receiver cover locked in place. I'll see if we have one here. PM me.
