cheaper than underwood, that is
i have this 200 grain xtp 1250fps zinger coming
$30 + $6 shipping for 50rds
http://www.underwoodammo.com/10mmauto200grainxtpjacketedhollowpointboxof50.aspx

buffalo bore was higher, last i checked.

hornady xtp 180 grain off the shelf is $20 for 20 but muzzle energy is just 1180.
underwood is cheaper AND hotter :hyper:

IIRC, finding comercial 10mm was a bit of a pain. Finding full house loads comercially was even worse.

The hottest I ever found was Hornady something or other at around 1450fps.

Recoil was a little "brisk". ;)

Don't think you can do better than that. Double Tap Ammo has gone up in price a lot. I notice that other then the 10mm ammo designed specifically for the Delta Elite, Underewood doesn't state what firearm they are getting their velocities out of?

Freedom Munitions has 10 mm reloads for:

Box of 50 [Add $19.49]
Box of 250 [Add $97.29]
Box of 500 [Add $194.49]
Case of 1000 [Add $389.00]

Plus shipping.

The site says 180 gr RNFP at 1200 fps.

sooters at g-talk are reporting dobletap is over-reporting velocities. idk

you gotta load your own to get the real performance anymore.

Not to defend Double Tap, as I really don't have a dog in this fight, but they could very well be accurately reporting the velocities they found in testing at their facility. However, they're in Utah and you'd have to be at their elevation above sea level with the same barometric pressure that existed at the time of testing to expect the same exact results. Unless the guys over a g-talk did that, they are not accurately recreating the test, therefore their results will be different. The same goes for other ammunition manufacturers.

Sort of like when car magazines evaluate the performance of various cars.

Plus, the 10mm needs at the very least a 5" barrel to get up and running....

Would imagine it also makes a difference in how far apart your chrono screens are and how far from the muzzle. There is a guy who has about a dozen youtube videos where he chronos different 10mm loads. The two I watched were four different DT loads and three Buffalo Bore and one Underwood load. The DT and Buffalo Bore loads all tested slower then what was claimed on the box. In some cases 200-250fps lower. The Underwood load didn't have a velocity printed on the box but it was running 1250fps with a 155gr HP. If you check their website, Underwood lists two 155gr HP loads in 10mm and both are listed at 1500fps.

Glock Talk? Enough said. They are ARFcom for glockers.
