My first thought is "Ewwwwww a Chinese 1911"... but I have heard only good things about them... not one bad.

They have a good rep, the only thing to mention is that the steel is really hard, doesn't really make a difference for anything though.

I wouldn't go much higher then $300 for one

I am aware that they sell for more, but much like $599 wasr's there are better options for the money

I only own one pistol and when i bought it was between a Norinco 1911 exactly like that and a Kinber TLE/RL i went with the Kimber but still want one.
