I was gonna title this thread using the word "piddle" somewhere.
Looked up the definition (not wizzing) & said something along the lines of using ones time "idly" (i can handle that) or "uselessly"(don't like that)
Anyways, I like to what I call piddle.
I had a WASR10 that was lacking a spring & plunger for the slant brake. ( I could write a whole theard on the brake.( read threading barrel & brake install)
I thought I had seen a tutorial on a homemade plunger (appropriate sized nail) & spring.(ball point pen or similar spring)
I couldn't find the tut & was gonna ask here. Well, I thought WTF, I'll give it a go on my own. I did purty good.
Not great, but I now have a plunger that does push in & come back out.
I'd post pics, but, I'm pic challenged. Maybe someday.
Have any of yall ever found that magical cure for Kalashnikitis??? ( mine comes & goes on its own )
I currently have a pretty bad case of Mosinitis. I hope the above two never stike me @ the same time!!!!
:animatedsalute:
