What firing system do they use 70's or 80's?

They use the firing pin block like in the Colt Series 80 but they have left it off of the newest models and as I understand it they are going to be changing all future production to the series 70 style

I wish others would follow suit. I believe colt is moving away form the series 80 firing mechanism
