they already do that with missiles, small arms bullets up to .50 cal are too small to fit the electronics into, and its much more difficult to change the flight path of a "pushed" proj like a bullet than it is with a propelled projo like a missile.

deth, I'm not sure he's suggesting an "on board" system but rather a targeting system that might be coupled with some other launching platform - but it's not clear.

Our military already has targeting systems of course and I'm pretty sure that they can zero-in on a cell phone too or other sending/recieving devices as well...

the term "bullets" that he used lead me to think of small arm ammunition. "some other launching platform" would certainly be a possibility.

it doesn't zero in on cellphone signals. u didn't pay attention. it uses them as an identifier, so u know who is using the cellphone, surroundings, etc. more advanced than anything the military has
