Just because it can be done does not mean it should.

Anyone seen Printertard?

He's busy designing a "direct gas impingment conversion" for his AK...

Disagree, alot of the guys who get into airsoft when they are oung... get into the real thing when they get old enough to have them... thus continuing our hobby into a whlo new generation. Companies (like S&W, DPMS, Beretta, etc...) know this, and so they put thier names on some of these replicas so that they get brand recognition out to a whole new demographic. This is why I became a DPMS guy... my first "EBR" was a DPMS airsoft M-4 (http://www.airsoftgunroom.com/py-1843.html).

Plus it gets some of these fat little shits outside running around... and that's good.

The problem with Printertard isn't so much what he does to his rifle (of that I could give two shits about), it's the moronic description (and other useless information he provides) that usually accompanies the picture.

Airsoft guns are a great training tool for a young kid. My neighbor asked if he and his 13 year old boy could go to the range with me to see how he handles a real gun. He has been pracitsing with an airsoft pistol since he was 10.
When we got to the range i went over safe gun handling, how to load a magazine and load the gun and how to aim it. Started him on a ruger p94dc 9mm then a .40s&w beretta then anXD.45 cal and finally a delta elite 10mm.He never made one safety error and by the time he had fired about 100 rounds he was becoming a damn good shot.
His dad and i were amazed at how well he did on his first outting with real guns. I can only attribute it to him playing with airsoft toys for so long.
Now the little sucker is hooked and nags me constantly to take him with me again :)

I thought he was trying to potty train his pet rock....

The rock committed suicide so now he's got a chia pet.

No luck potty trainning it either.

Chia pets require water, I'm half afraid to ask what he's using there...

Paying $369.99 for a SCAR-L was the final straw.
