So, I finally got my shotgun put together (well, ordered at least). Now I'm moving on to the next project; Saiga .223 carbine. Main question is, how much potential damage can I do converting it myself? Is it tough to do the conversion and not mess up the finish very much?
I'm really liking the Ace skeleton fixed stocks. If I mod the receiver to accept the internal block, will that impact my ability to put other stocks on the carbine down the road? How extensive are the mods necessary? I've read what they are, but until I have the gun in hand I won't really know.
