I read that same article. The part that got me was;


The NRA has spent two years tracking down rumors that the Obama administration wants to impose gun and ammo bans on the public, but hasn't found anything credible. While the lead ban was viewed initially as a substantial chance for the administration to move into challenging the Second Amendment, the swift rejection by the EPA settled concerns inside NRA headquarters today.

This paragraph makes the NRA look like a paranoid organization and that the Obama Administration is innocent of any wrong doing. I think there is plent of evidence, from the Supreme Court nominees to his cabinet appointments to know what President Obama wants to do. It is good that for this issue the American people have spoken very loud and clear (as if they didn't on health care) and he is too afraid to try anything.
