Disappointed Yesterday

Got invited over to a friends house to go shooting. With my current schedule I haven't been able to shoot in a couple of months, so I jumped at the chance. I loaded up my car and packed in my wife and daughter. My daughter was talking about trying my Glock 19, which would have been her first centerfire pistol. Well, as luck would have it, there was a bad accident on the highway which prevented me from making it to my friends house. I am so disappointed. I won't get another chance to go shooting for about a month.

That sucks, how far was the trip to your friends house?

Probably about 20 miles, but there is really only one road and someone decided to roll their car into another car in the direction I was going. It took over an hour to go about 3 miles. I had to give up. It would have been dark by the time I got there.

Load up the pellet rifle and have fun in the yard to hold you over.
