Thought I'd make my first post here to show off my completed MAK90
I realize most here like to keep their AK original, but I really wanted to upgrade this sweet shooter
Thanks, Steve

Welcome to the group !!! :welcome:
Although I prefer my AK variants original, they do lend themselves to customizations. Thanks for sharing!
A guy named Printerman should be by soon to add his 2 cents, and I bet he really likes it!
Enjoy your rifle, enjoy and again welcome to the site!!!

Welcome to the board!
Although I perfer a more traditional AK, that is a well done tactical version.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes I realize that the original AK left unmolested is a thing of beauty. I don't own an AR, so for now this is my primary do all battle rifle, if you will. My deceased father immigrated here from Hungry during the Revolution so I have been looking for a nice Hungarian AK. I think he would've liked it.
I am a former John Deere sales rep and had this cheap gold ring that I earned for million dollars sales award. I found the MAK 90 years ago in a pawn shop. It was new in the box so I gave them the ring and got the AK and $100 back in return. Now I have over 1k into it with a couple dozen mags and ammo.
Very nice. You do nice work Steve.I can see I'm outta my league here.I picked up a beat up mak in a pawn shop and I was just trying to figure out the legality of it so I thought I'd come to the experts.Overall these firearms are a little pricey for me.See my post "is it legal?" and a related post "nut-as in imanak". Good shooting with it.
