The first 1.5 seconds of this is goofy but the rest is Metallica's Fuel and a Veritech dogfight.

This is from the 2009 Robotech Shadows Chronicle Movie, when they take earth back from the Invid with much updated animation. Sorry guys been having a happy epic Geek moment sense Palladium re-produced a 2nd edition RPG for the Robotech series. I know many here are children of the 80's like myself and remembered the awesomeness of Robotech. :)

Yeah Battletech I think was before my time. Many people don't realize it but the Transformers would not exist if not for Robotech.

Robotech was a good show.
Do any of you remeber when Voltron was made out of vehicles instead of lions?

I loved Robotech!

Of course it was an English DUBBED version of three JAPANESE anime shows - Macross, Southern Cross and MOSPEADA. All three had nothing to do with each other and the American english writers wrote an over arching story that 'kinda' linked all of them.

Thanks for the walk down memory lane. Those space battles were hella cool!!!! That's what got me into Japanese Anime (only the space war stuff, not the other anime stuff) in the first place.

The Space War anime stuff is good. The other anime stuff is just weird. Adult Swim had some on over the years and it is just...blah.

Adult Swim is known for buying the licensing to some pretty mediocre anime. I wouldn't judge it all based on that one channel.

Check out some subbed anime. I usually find it more interesting than English dubs, which frequently change content in order to localize the story.
