I do, however, question when things are not as they appear to be. If a valid explanation is presented, then for me it's "case closed".

For example, if someone tells me it's raining but I see the road is dry, I will question it.

If the explanation is "there were cars parked blocking the rain", then I say "oh, OK" and that's the end of it.

But, if someone tells me "It's raining, the dry road doesn't matter, you're a kook for not believing that it is raining and you are nothing but a conspiracy theorist", I'll say "yeah OK but you still haven't told me why the road is dry if you CLAIM that it's raining.
