Budweiser?!? fooey! Only alcohol made from rice that I will drink is Sake.
For beer: Most anything german, with a special place in my heart for Warsteiner. If I must drink domestic, then Sam Adams, Fat Tire, Blue Moon or (if I gotta) Miller Lite.

What do I like in beer ... dark usually. Though I do like a good Heffeweitzen (sp) German wheat beer. It would probably be easier to list what I don't like and that would be any US high volume Pilsner type beer, examples would be Buttwiper, Coors, Miller or any beer described as "Light" etc.

Bishoff Premium.
Brewed in the next town over on the Alsenz river, from where I grew up in Germany.
Every once in a while you can get it in the states, but in reality, its hard to even get in certain parts of Germany since the brewery is so small...
I dont drink at all anymore, but that bier was my favorite!

Sam Adams Octoberfest, when available (it is right now!), Ommegang Rare Vos, made right here in Cooperstown, is a fine beer which I enjoy quite often, and I have taken quite a liking to "Wailing Wench Ale", made by Middle Ages Brewery in Syracuse. Or maybe I just love looking at the bottle!
