Command Sergeant Major Basil L. Plumley, United States Army. Veteran of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam passed away today at the age of 92.

CSM Plumley was a fine example of what a TRUE AMERICAN HERO is.

You know.... I am no comment whore.... but it f*%$#*g amazes me that no one has commented on this thread.... This man fought in 3 wars, was awarded more decorations than most any 3 Soldiers combined will ever receive, and no one wants to sent our version of "respects" to this fine example of a Human..... Really I could not give a flip of you comment or not, but take a second to learn about this man, read up on him, Maybe stop off on his family "guestbook" listed with his obituary and show how much respect you have for this HERO. Command Sergeant Major Basil Plumley was the kind of Warrior that anyone who has ever put on a uniform should strive to be, and EVERY AMERICAN should be thankful for!! God Bless him, and his family.
