Hummm, looks to be a Krink gas/site block and the barrel shortened. That means the Krink muzzle device would have to be pinned or tacked to get the barrel length legal. It would make a good start for a SBR project...

Hell, for $100 you can't even buy a kit with a cut barrel anymore....

You might...but more's likely I'd be doing the showing...I've owned more AK's and machine guns than most folks you are likely to run into...from AKS47S (SUKA) models on up...fun to shoot, more fun to fight with...but I'll take an M-14 to any AK ever made, any day of the year.
